"History is the story of redemption. This story is much bigger than I am. I am not the main character in the drama of redemption. I am not the point. But by God's grace I am a part of it. It is far more significant to have a small part in this story than to star in my own puny production. This is a cosmic story that will run throughout eternity. Will I play my part with grace and joy, or will I go for the short-run, insignificant story that really has no point?" -Susan Hunt

Easter weekend was wonderful for us. Saturday we had an egg hunt in a bamboo wood near our place. The kids had a blast and while waiting for daddy to hide the eggs my friend Kelly (here with Evangelism Explosion) did a spectacular job getting all the kids to learn the motions to the story of our redemption!
Then we had a crowd for dinner that evening.....with a wonderful Easter service at Jesus Community in Kokubunji.

Lili went with Chad to Sendai for a day trip. She was too cute all packed with dress up clothes, her bear, coloring books and crayons for the shinkansen ride up north. With the Festival over I am pretty sure the office staff played with her all day, chase, hide and seek, supergirl as well as lunch out and ice cream! She was exhausted when she got home but full of stories.

This is how I roll without Yaya....not pretty. And I did it alone on the Seibu Ikebukuro line during rush hour. Thankfully little Noa fell fast asleep in her sling and Lili was encased in the stroller so no little person was squished in the jam packed train. I received a lot of incredulous looks but smiled in spite of it and the kids were good!
