"History is the story of redemption. This story is much bigger than I am. I am not the main character in the drama of redemption. I am not the point. But by God's grace I am a part of it. It is far more significant to have a small part in this story than to star in my own puny production. This is a cosmic story that will run throughout eternity. Will I play my part with grace and joy, or will I go for the short-run, insignificant story that really has no point?" -Susan Hunt

First Day of SCHOOL!
Chad and I had been sort of looking for a place where Nykolas could go consistently and interact with other children and work on his grasp of English. God just brought this start up school into our lives. His teacher, Aubrey goes to our church and there is one other little girl in his class. O my goodness....It was so much harder on me than Nykolas....he LOVES Aubrey and is so into the idea of being a big boy...lunch box - with his name on it (thanks to our dear friends the Halls!) and the walk to school and everything! It's just two days a week for four hours so not too overwhelming. He had a blast today and is at the moment zonked out on his bed...missing morning nap is exhausting! I am still amazed at what a big boy he is growing into!!!!
An elf?
Rigorously avoiding the word "fairy" for obvious reasons. But this very pink elf on the outside has dinosaur camos on underneath and as we have seen in the Lord of the Rings an elf can be very useful in fending off the dark enemies that lurk about....though I must say this elf doesn't look too foreboding....angelic comes to mind.
