TWO!!!

I cannot believe our precious Mia Joy is two years old and I am....um...older than two. She is getting taller and thinner and chatting all the time...Of course, I haven't aged at all in the last 24 months...HA!....Well, I'm not getting any taller and thinner anyway. It seems like just yesterday we were driving through the night from Atlanta to Texas, with our new Nykolas in tow, to meet our priceless bundle. We've managed to live in four countries and given Joy a new sister since then! Whew!

We invited Chad's office staff and a few new friends to a dinner party last evening of vindaloo and rice and of course, one of mommy's homemade cakes. And best of all our Gran, Tita Holley and Tito Charles arrived from Texas and California just in time for the party! What timing!

Mia was a little shy at first to be the center of attention but it didn't take her long at all to warm to the situation and twirl around in delight....especially when the presents came out. Today is our actual birthday and Mia has opened a new tricycle, tea set, new doll and had phone calls from Mamsie and the Dillon family.....after naps this morning she has chosen swimming at the pool at the Grand Hotel. What a fun day! Ahhh, to be two again! :)

Fun in Gyeongjue....

Friday, Chad's staff picked us up and took us on a trip out of town. We went to Gyeongjue, which is about two hours drive away... They had the whole two days packed full of fun. We checked into the Hilton Hotel, then set off to the Teddy Bear Museum, then to the Amusement Park (yes, the kids road a rollercoaster and so did Yaya for the first time!), then dinner and while I put the kids down everyone else went bowling....the next morning while the girls and I took a nap, Chad, Yaya, Nykolas and everyone else went bike riding, then after lunch we made a splash at AquaWorld! (Nykolas and Mia have no fear whatsoever of water....they jump and jump and jump!) What a weekend! Is there such a thing as too much fun?

Monkey....

Mia has suddenly attached herself to a monkey that her Tita Hollye sent this way. Yesterday, the monkey was practising using the potty with a little plastic stool then it turned into a boat for Mia and the monkey. Then today, monkey went with us to ride cars and to the beach.....cute cute....

Weighing in at 4.6 kilos (10.12 lbs.)!!!!!
