Needs a good home...

When we leave for Taiwan in early September we really need to place our long time companion, Nan. My dad travels a lot with his job and is unable to be at home to care for her. Is there anyone out there who would love a dog? There is a sheltie rescue but my heart would feel so much better if she was with someone I know.

Chad and I adopted her shortly after we married. She is 13 years old and enjoys people....not so much toddlers though. Her age and size make her pretty intolerant to tail pulls and body slams. She is great with adults and older kids. She can be either an indoor or outdoor dog....most of her life she has been indoor but when my mom took her, she stayed outside. She is in overall good health but is on a thyroid pill daily, which Chad and I would be happy to cover.

Yes, she is naked as the day she was born....poor wee thing has had the worst diaper rash and a day 'airing' it out was wonderful.
